Another great trip from Trinetra - looking forward to the next one!
I think this is our eigth trip around India with Trinetra Tours. As per usual I choose the locations, hotels and the dates and they provide friendly, professional drivers and various knowledgable and courteous tour guides to help you appreciate the myriad of sightseeing activities along the way. This time we clung to the coast of Kerala travelling down to India's southernmost tip and drove back up the coastline on the opposite side of Tamil Nadu. Devising the itinerary with Trinetra is always part of the fun and I appreciate how they allow you to customise your trips to your requirements. Their responses to your suggestions are always well-considered and with the best intent at heart. This most recent trip to India proved to be one of our best trips out here, largely because we learnt to slow down a little more and languish in places a bit longer. Our holiday was nearly scuppered at the beginning as our flight was cancelled due to an electric surge and outage closing Heathrow airport for 24 hours. Luckily Trinetra were still on standby, even though it was a weekend, they were still contactable and ready to take instruction. I managed to rearrage my flights last minute, which meant arriving and leaving on different dates and entering and exiting India through different airports, in different states. I conveyed my newly revised itenerary and new flight details to Trinetra by Whatsap and email and they got straight to work at the last minute rearranging the tours guides and the driver as necessary, with absolutely no complaints, or any suggestion of it being an inconvenience - a testament to how professional and flexible they truly are and how much they cater for their guests. The upside to this professionalism meant we could still attend an anually held festival in Kollam, whch was only permitable on one date, an event that became the hilghlight of the trip. A special mention must also go to the tour guide in Hyderabad, a consumate professional and a very enganging and hospitable gentleman, who did a superb job of showing us around. We are looking forward to planning our next trip to India with Trinetra already, thanks once again for such a seamless, enjoyable and reliable experience!
